Elements

Element list contain files opened to the application. In some cases opening a file may create multiple elements to the list.

There are four types of elements:

Vector element contains single points and breaklines.
Model element contains one triangle surface model.
Alignment element contains single road alignment.
Raster element contains single raster image.

Element List

Element list

List can be sorted by any column. Element drawing is based on their elevation and is not affected by the sorting order.

Filter

List contents can be filtered by simple search string. If the filter field contains some string, only files with name containing the string are displayed. This does not affect active file or canvas drawing.

Star beside the field can be used to store the filter string permanently to a drop down list. List opens with down arrow key for stored filter selection. Filter string can be removed from the list with the crossmark icon.

Active

There is always only one active element. Most editing operations affect only this element and all new points and lines are stored to it.

New created or opened file becomes automatically active element.

Name

Name of the file element. Tooltip displays the whole path on mouse hover. F2 shortcut key can be used to edit name.

Edited

Displays small filled circle for modified files.

Visible

Controls element visibility. Each individual element can be hidden separately.

Locked

Locked element cannot be edited.

Color

Each element can be colored separately. The default color for all elements is red. Clicking the icon turns coloring on or off. Double-clicking the icon opens color selection dialog for changing the color.

Settings

Opens advanced settings for the element.

Count

Displays the Total number of points in the element.

There is common popup menu available with the secondary mouse button.
