Add Point

Single point adding mode to the active file. Each mouse click adds new single point. If snapped to the existing point, the point is copied. All attributes (id, category, feature) and coordinates are copied to the new point.

When clicking anywhere else on the canvas, point with mouse coordinates is created. This can be done only in 2D mode. In 3D mode it is possible to create line only through existing point by snapping to them. If there is an active object at mode start, its height is used for newly added points. This height can be changed at any time by the Z-coordinate field in the dialog.

Stating mode automatically activates the point edit dialog and remembers previously used category and feature codes. If there is an active point when starting the mode, its codes are used for new points. Codes can be changed at any time during adding.
