Version 2026.3

Added possibility to use Rewise with 3D-Win license:
- Requires 3D-Win maintenance and support agreement.
- Controlled by setting in the license setting dialog.
- Works with both local USB dongle and network license.
- License id is displayed as customer name.
New code list pop-up function uses code in open dialog code fields.
Code list favorites:
- Frequently used codes can be copied to the beginning of the category anf feature lists.
- All code handling can be done through these favorite copies.
Orthographic 3D projection:
- 3D view mode is now orthographic, scale remains same for both near and far objects.
- Improves zooming and rotation of large areas.
LandXML import reads now also Leica/GeoMax HexagonLandXML code attributes.
Added some new instruction videos to the documentation.
Added command line parameter handling:
- Supports help, version and file opening.
- Standard syntax: rewise.exe [-h] [-v] [files...]
Application installation registers .rws extension to Windows system:
- Rewise icon is displayed for .rws files and double-clicking opens them.
Improvements to the Object info:
- Favorite object properties can be shown beside the points.
- Added setting for the label font size.

Object info Selected setting does not override Point and Line settings any more.
PDF files are automatically read with transparent background.
Fixed dialog resize arrow cursor handling.
Improved tool dialog pop-up menus.
Fixed reading of UTF-8 encoded DXF files.
Fixed text deletion from the selected object group.
Fixed context menu closing with the Esc-key.

Native file extension is now .rws.
- Uses internally new binary file version 8.
- Reads also older .tdw file versions 7 (Rewise) and 6 (3D-Win).
- File saving does not use multiple extensions any more.
Mode accept and restart work now also with space bar.

Fixed crashes in single point adding and converting line to points.
DWG/DXF format fixes:
- Fixed handling of some illegal characters in layer names.
- Improved tilted arc division in file reading.
- DEFAULT and 0 layer names use now file name as a surface code.
Fixed triangle flip crash with surface models without adjacent topology.
Fixed drawing of triangle borders and polylines with tight angles.
Continuing existing line does not create unnecessary copy any more.

New functionality in surface edit:
- Copy button creates copy of the active surface to the element list.
- Active surface can be raised or lowered with given amount.
New element list color column menu command for automatic element colors.
Surface model points can now be selected to the group.
- Only limited amount of functionality is currently available.
- Points can be copied and their height can be changed.
- Object info labels can be displayed for selected points.
Added scale bar to the lower right corner of the drawing canvas.
- Can turned on or off in the application preferences.

New line adding takes now height correctly from the active line point.
Line add mode remembers used height when the mode is restarted.
LandXML format changes:
- Fixed alignment writing to LandXML format.
- Writing uses now UTF-8 character set and LandXML 1.2 version.
Fixed next or previous point activation after converting line to single points.
Fixed setting the active surface category code with the mouse double click.
Changing the surface category code marks the element modified.
Any edit mode change clears the cross section and its reference line.
Updated Swedish and Norwegian translations.
