File group

File group can be used to save current state of the element list to a file and retrieve it later. File uses the extension .grp and contains element list file names and their current options (hidden, locked, color). Because it contains just file names, all modified file elements must be saved separately.

Saving the group file uses active file folder by default, but it can be changed before saving. File element names in the same directory as the group file or in subdirectories below it are stored with relative paths. All other file element names are stored with full absolute paths.

Opening group file reads files to the element list and sets their options accordingly. Original file order is retained. Active file is also set to the file element marked as active in the group file.

Because some file formats explode to multiple elements in reading, the element list may not contain original file names. In these cases user could save exploded elements before writing the group file.
